2012 Ford Super Duty

"No pressure! That is what Steve brings to the table, and that is why I bought my new F-150 from Steve. My wife and I were able to walk the whole lot without anyone looking over our shoulders and we looked at every truck and talk about them and went back and forth between trucks and compare, so when Steve came to us we were ready with questions and Steve was ready with all the right answers. No pressure, Steve allowed us to buy the truck we wanted, not the one He wanted to sell, that is why Steve is your salesman you want to talk to when you come to Dewey and buy your next truck or car."  9/1/2011

2012 ford super duty f-250 truckTwo engines are available for the Ford F-250 which are a 6.7-liter turbo-diesel V-8 and a 6.2-liter gas V-8. Both engines team with a heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission.  The standard 6.2 liter engine can run on regular gas or E85 Ethanol.  It produces 385 horsepower and 405 pounds-feet of torque. The 6.7 liter turbo uses regular diesel fuel or a blend of up to 20 percent biodiesel and produces 400 hp and a massive 800 pounds-feet of torque at 1,600 rpm.  For the new 2012 Ford F-250, Ford engineers found a way to build a strengthened frame and trailer hitch provides 17,500 pounds of conventional towing capacity when properly equipped. Ford also offers a CNG/LPG prep package for gas-engine trucks, and a gooseneck hitch is available for the 6.75-foot cargo box.

Handling of the 2011 Ford F-250

The Ford F-250 is considerably quieter in regard to wind and road noise than its competitors.  With regard to goin g up hills,  the diesel climbs with ease, and the six-speed automatic never labors, nor does it get caught hunting for the right gear.  Descending is also made simple thanks to the well-managed automatic transmission teaming up with the diesel's exhaust brake.
